Your Cybersecurity Partner on the Water
Arios Cyber helps MTSA-regulated vessel and facility operators comply with the Coast Guard's cybersecurity requirements.
From Assessment to Ongoing Compliance
New Coast Guard cybersecurity regulations are now in effect for every MTSA-regulated vessel and facility. For most small and mid-size operators, that means navigating and meeting complex new requirements without the staff or budget to handle them in-house. Arios Cyber bridges that gap.
Based in New York City, home to one of the busiest ports in the country, Arios Cyber brings over a decade of experience across technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance in highly regulated industries to help vessel and facility operators build and maintain the cybersecurity programs the regulation demands.
What We do
Cybersecurity Assessment
The required first step. We evaluate your IT and OT systems, identify vulnerabilities, document Known Exploited Vulnerabilities, and produce the formal assessment report that feeds your Cybersecurity Plan and your Facility or Vessel Security Assessment.
Compliance Package
Assessment, Cybersecurity Plan, and USCG submission bundled into a single engagement. We handle the full process: evaluating your systems, writing all required plan sections along with your Cyber Incident Response Plan, and preparing the submission package for your Captain of the Port or the Marine Safety Center.
Ongoing Compliance
Retainer-based compliance management for operators who need ongoing expert support. Whether you need a fractional Cybersecurity Officer (we serve as your designated CySO and take on the full regulatory role) or advisory support alongside your own CySO, we handle Know Exploited Vulnerabilities monitoring, plan maintenance, vulnerability management, drills, and Coast Guard correspondence.
Cybersecurity Plan Audit
Independent annual audit of your existing Cybersecurity Plan and its implementation. Produces a formal audit report with compliance ratings and a remediation roadmap.
Training Program
Development and delivery of the cybersecurity training required for all personnel with IT or OT access, including OT-specific modules and incident response training for key personnel.
Drills & Exercises
Planning and facilitation of the semi-annual drills and annual exercises required under the regulation, including scenario development, facilitation, and after-action documentation.
